I know that it's the middle of winter here in the US and that my friends in the northeast are expecting a blizzard (sorry about that!). But here in Texas it is 78 degrees and sunny (sorry about that too!) and it feels nothing like winter. We really have had some rare warm winter temperatures around here. I'm definitely not complaining about that one.
I've been spending lots of time outdoors and taking advantage of these temperatures. Of course I like to sit outside on the patio to enjoy the scenery and take it all in. I love sitting on nice patio furniture and pretending I'm at a resort. Why not?! I just grab an iced tea and my laptop and I am good to go for hours. Literally!
This video from Sears gives some great tips on the things you should consider when purchasing new outdoor furniture. There are also tips for maintaining your furniture to keep it in its best condition for a longer lifetime. You should do what you can to protect your investments and make them last as long as possible.
Have you ever shopped the outdoor furniture department at Sears? They have some very beautiful and very durable products from great brands, including some items that are exclusive to Sears. There are many different styles to fit every taste. Check out their stores or website if you're in the market for new outdoor furniture. Sears even offers a rewards program where you earn points for each dollar spent. I love these types of consumer programs because I can earn things for free after I spend a certain amount of money on purchases that I'm already making. It's a win/win for me!
So, who's ready for summer?
On a more serious note to my friends in the northeast, please stay safe!

I moved To Texas back in 1973. My first Christmas that year it was in the upper seventies. Went back to NY for a bit and had a great suntan.. Lol. Winters are generally very mild here. I'm in North Texas. We do get a snowfall maybe every two or three years. What we really need is rain. We are running out of water. Enjoy your blog and videos. :) W.F. TX
