Mom's Monday Mingle

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!  I'm excited to be co-hosting this week's Mom's Monday Mingle blog hop.  If you're not familiar with this, it's a fun way to discover new blogs and meet other bloggers who may have the same interests as you.  If you're a blogger, please read the rules and join in below!

My weekend was pretty uneventful.  I spent a lot of it driving my kids to various events they had going on.  My son had an appointment with one of his golf instructors in Dallas.  He's only 16 and a fairly new driver so I drove him there.  We have TONS of road construction on every single one of our highways here in the Dallas Fort Worth area.  It would scare even the most experienced driver to be out there.  My daughter, who is 17 had a a college visit scheduled to preview the cheer squad.  The college was far enough away that the same situation arose.  Therefore I was able to put lots of miles on my car driving all over the place.  No complaints.  That's just how I spent a lot of my weekend.  Of course there were a few nice meals eaten out.  We never seem to miss those nice meals around here.  And a bit of shopping was done too.  After all, what's a mom to do to waste time while she waits for her kids while they are at their appointments.  Does anybody else do this?  It sure can get expensive so I am thankful that these two drive themselves around town most of the time.
