Rockin the White

Here is my outfit board for this week's Friday's Fancies. I am actually a big fan of white clothing. I dread Labor Day because I have to put away my white pants and adore Easter because I get to wear them again. I am going to a wedding next week and wish I had this outfit to wear. It would be perfect!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains

By now most makeup lovers have already heard of and have probably tried the all new lip balm stains from Revlon. I purchased just two of the twelve colors to see what I think of them. The first two colors I purchased are called Honey and Charm. Let me just say wow! These are quite nice on the the lips. They have a slight peppermint fragrance. They definitely apply like a balm yet they provide an ample amount of color payoff leaving a stain effect on the lips after they have worn off the lips. I am sure that the more intense the color, the longer the staining power.
These new Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stains by Revlon can be purchased for less than $8.00 each at most drug stores and Ulta. I purchased mine at Target last week.
I would compare these to the Chubby Sticks by Clinique as far as appearance. These both twist up to release more product and do not have to be sharpened. However, these Revlon Balms last longer on the lips due to the staining effect that they have.
Needless to say, these are a keeper and I will be purchasing more! Have you tried these yet? If so, what did you think?

Kate Spade Twirl

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder

If you have ever watched one of my Favorites videos on Youtube, then you already know that my favorite foundation of all time is the Laura Mercier Loose Mineral Powder. I love the way it applies to the skin. It is a powder, yet it does not have a powdery finish. Because it is a mineral product it is suitable for my sensitive rosacea prone skin. In addition, it has an SPF of 15. That is not a high enough percentage for protection from the sun so I use sunscreen and or moisturizer with an SPF of 30 on my skin first. I love that this foundation has a physical sunscreen in it made up of 20% zinc oxide. This foundation makes me feel confident that I am getting nice even coverage and fantastic protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. The color that I wear is called Real Sand. I have repurchased this product 3 times. The .34 oz container lasts for many months. It is available at department stores carrying the Laura Mercier brand as well as at Sephora for $35. AIM at Melanoma Walk for a Cure

I participated in this year's Dallas walk for AIM at Melanoma on Saturday, May 5th. My brother, daughter and I walked just over 3 miles to support this cause and raise money for research and education. We are proud to say that we raised over $2100 this year. Thank you everyone for your support!!
